Evelyn Rauch

Evelyn Rauch, 88, of Norris City, passed away at 12:15 pm, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. Evelyn was born on February 10, 1928 in Norris City, the daughter of George Herman and Anna Bell (Little) Hulett. Evelyn married Donald Merritt Rauch on November 17, 1979 and he survives. She attended Plainview General Baptist Church and had previously worked for a pharmaceutical company.

Surviving are her husband, Donald, of Norris City; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Judy Satterfield of Carmi; two step-sons, Randy Rauch of Effingham, IL and Danny Rauch of Decatur, IL; two step-daughters, Donna Ciabatti of Decatur, IL and Linda Waters of Champaign, IL; a sister, Dorothy Hite of Norris City; two brothers-in-law, Maurice Rauch of Bethany, IL and Richard Rauch of Herrick, IL; two sisters-in-law, Jenny Routt of Herrick, IL and Ann Grandon of Decatur, IL; one grandson, Tony Satterfield and wife Lisa; four great-granchildren, Danielle, Alissa, Mitchell, and Matthew Satterfield; 8 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jewell Hulett, Dwight Hulett, and Lawrence Hulett; three sisters, Freda Cusic, Almeda Hill, and Alberta Hulett; and a grandson, Matthew Craig Satterfield.

Funeral services for Evelyn Rauch, of Norris City, will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wabash Christian Retirement Center Chapel and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
