Evelyn Lumley

Evelyn M. Lumley, 77, of Carmi passed away at 11:30 p.m., on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.  She was born in Palatine, IL on March 3, 1943.  Evelyn married Ronald Lumley and he preceded her in death in December of 2017. She had worked in a factory before moving to Carmi and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carmi.

Evelyn is survived by Alice and Larry Bryant of Carmi who cared for her along with her church family at Our Savior Lutheran Church and the staff and residents at Wabash Christian Village. She is also survived by two daughters and a son.

Per Evelyn's wishes her body was donated to science and a memorial service will be held at  a later date at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carmi with Rev. Dean Spooner officiating.  Memorial gifts may be made in Evelyn's memory to Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
