Evelyn Hoskins

Evelyn Hoskins, 95, of Carmi passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:15 pm at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. Evelyn was born February 20, 1916 in Norris City, IL the daughter of Ed and Minnie (Garrison) McKenzie. She married William F. Hoskins on January 12, 1936 and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Carmi.
Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Elaine Levy of Port Townsend, WA; a son-in-law, Larry Dagley of Crystal Lake, IL; three grandchildren, Timothy Kent Dagley, Kristen Balow and Allison Ann Dagley; three great-grandchildren, Carter and Taylor Balow and Kyle Dagley; a niece Laraine Brady; four nephews, Keith and Debbie Hoskins, Phillip and Carolyn Hoskins, Scott Hoskins and David and Cindy Hoskins; several great nieces and nephews and two special caregivers, Nedra Thompson and Amy Buttry.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Dagley on October 18, 2006, a son-in-law, Rene Levy on February 16, 2008 and a brother, Dewey Kenneth McKenzie.
Funeral Services for Evelyn Hoskins, 95, of Carmi will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11:00 am at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Carmi. Friends may call at the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Tuesday after 9:00 am.
