Ernest Lee Williams

     Ernest Lee Williams, 82, of Carmi passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Carmi Manor and Rehab.  He was born Eimutis Bulkaitis on July 10, 1940 in Kybartai, Lithuania the son of Valerijonas Kirsa and Jule (Bulkaitis) Bajarunas.  Ernest immigrated to the United States at the age of 10 and changed his name in the late 1950's before joining the United States Army. He spent most of his life in Northern Illinois before moving to Carmi.

Ernest Lee Williams will be laid to rest in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi  Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is handling arrangements.
