Emily Beirman

Emily Ann Alexander Beirman 41, of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away Friday February 16, 2018. She was born in Evansville to Dewey “Mike” and Rita (Morris) Alexander. Emily married Rick Beirman in Mt. Vernon on February 3, 1996.

Emily graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and Harrison College in Evansville with an Associate Degree. Since her children's birth Emily stayed at home with them. Emily loved spending time with her family and opened her home up to all of the neighborhood kids who affectionately called her “Aunt Em”. She was a fun loving and generous person who wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in need. Emily had a strong faith and at the end made sure things were right with her God. Emily enjoyed gardening and painting rocks. She belonged to Harvestime Temple church and supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Emily is survived by her husband Rick; her children, Lexton, Alex and Sara; her parents, Mike and Rita; sisters, Amy (Donnie) Martin and Angela (Brandon) Dickey; as well as aunts, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a cousin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday February 23, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Riley Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
