Ella Mae Bradshaw, 79, of Carmi, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:43 a.m. at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born March 24, 1933 in Crossville, IL, the daughter of Lawrence Edward and Jessie (Koontz) Sturm. Ella Mae married Charles Fred Bradshaw July 27, 1951. She was a homemaker and an active long time member of Cherry Street General Baptist Church in Carmi.
Ella Mae is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred Bradshaw of Carmi; a daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Jeff Hosick of Carmi; four sons and three daughter-in-laws, Charles and Kathy Bradshaw of Warner Robbins, GA, Terry Bradshaw and Gary and Gayla Bradshaw all of Mt. Vernon, IL; and Jack and Jill Bradshaw of Carmi; ten grandchildren, Michel (Randy) Daniel, Melissa Bradshaw, Kendra (Scott) Fiala, Lucy (Jeremy) Redman, Abby (Jody) Underwood, Ryan (Krista) Bradshaw, Ben (Natalia) Bradshaw, Keaton (Lacey) Bradshaw, Kyle (Holley) Hosick and Lindsey Hosick; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie South of Mt. Vernon, IL and Betty Wright of Danville, IL.
Funeral services for Ella Mae Bradshaw, 79, of Carmi, will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Cherry Street General Baptist Church in Carmi. Burial will be in Kingdom Cemetery near Carmi. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial Contributions can be made in Ella Mae's name to the Cherry St. General Baptist Church Food Pantry and will be acceptted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
