Elaine Pry

Elaine (Mundy) Pry, 66, of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at her residence. She was born August 21, 1947 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Lawrence and Lora May (Holsapple) Mundy. Elaine married James D. Pry on December 21, 1998. Elaine had been a school teacher in the Carmi White County School District along serving as Administrator at Southeastern Illinois College in Carmi and Lockyear Business College in Evansville. She also worked alongside her husband at Gammon Realty. Elaine was a 1965 graduate of Carmi Township High School, received her Bachelor's from Eastern Illinois University and received her Master's from the University of Evansville.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Jim of Evansville; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles Leroy and Jane Mundy of Fairview, TX; a niece, Jamie Knight and her husband Brad of Frisco, TX; a nephew, Zachary Mundy and his wife Shelley of Kansas City, MO; and great nieces and nephews, Zoe Mundy, Emme Mundy, Jack Henry Knight, Elizabeth Knight, Charlie Knight and Anna Knight.

Funeral Services for Elaine (Mundy) Pry, 66, of Evansville will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at Campbell Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Little Wabash Cemetery near Crossville.
