Elaine Brandsasse

Donna Elaine Brandsasse, age 68 of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday evening August 17, 2010 at her home. She was born March 3, 1942 in Evansville, the daughter of Basil and Violet (Schmidt) McCormick. She married Jerry Brandsasse on April 13, 1962 in Evansville and he survives.


Mrs. Brandsasse was a homemaker.


She is survived by her husband Jerry; three daughters, Tonya Bebout of Mt. Vernon, Terry Loehr of Evansville and Tina Brandsasse of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Basil McCormick of FL; five sisters, Regina Jones of KY, Nancy Harmon of FL, Vickie Schmitzer, Peggy Knight and Cindy Whoberry all of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-grandson, Christopher Lee Bebout II, one brother, Steven McCormick; and three sisters, Sharon Miller, Diane DeKemper and Kathy Horton.


Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday August 20, 2010 at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home at Mt. Vernon with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Black Cemetery.
