Doyle Cullison, 78, of Crossville passed away at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.  He was born January 16, 1939 in Grayville, IL the son of Elbert Otto and Verda (Judge) Cullison.  He married Merry A. Pearson on January 27, 1967.  Doyle went to work at an early age where over the years he worked as a brick mason, carpenter and most recently a farm hand.  He loved being outdoors and going fishing, hunting or camping. Doyle enjoyed gardening and wood working, but most important to him was being with his kids.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Merry of Crossville; a daughter, Joy (Darrell) McCully of Crossville; three sons, Byron (Melissa) Cullison, Brent (Lori) Cullison and Elbert Cullison all of Crossville; five sisters, Joyce Ann Bertram, and Janet Woolever both of Grayville, Darla Wilson of Albion, Judy Danek of Mundelein, IL; and Terri Garman of Crossville; two brothers, Delmar Cullison of Newburgh, IN and Gary Cullison of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Mildred Cullison; a sister, Marilyn Evans; two brothers, Donald and Dean Cullison; Darrell and Mary Spencer who raised him.

Funeral services for Doyle Cullison, 78, of Crossville will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Albion.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Campbell Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
