Donnie Poore, Sr.

Donnie Poore, Sr., 79 of Springerton, died Tuesday afternoon March 13, 2018 at the Enfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 27, 1938, the son of Clyde and Mabel (Prince) Poore. He married Judy Dozier.

Donnie and his wife Judy owned and operated Poore’s Sawmill in Springerton for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Don Jr., and Stewart; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his sister, Shirley Kron. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday March 16, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Springerton Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
