Donald " Bud" "Pumper" Anderson

Donald "Bud" "Pumper" Anderson, 87 of Wadesville, passed away Wednesday morning August 10, 2016 at Charlier VNA Hospice in Evansville. He was born September 24, 1928 , the son of Cecil and Dorothy May (Hape) Anderson. He  married Mildred Maxine Lauderdale and she preceded him in death.

Donald had worked at Hovey Lake, U of E, and Felts Lock. He was an active member of the Hadi Shrine Funsters in Evansville. He was a retired veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Michael (husband, Greg Collins) Anderson; daughter, Karen Anderson; grandchildren, Katherine and Charles Anderson and their mother, Bridget Anderson; step -grandchildren, David Debes and Karen Weber; great-grandchildren, Chase, Lucas and Ramona Anderson, and Haidyn Debes and Selena Mayes.

Memorial services for Donald will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday August 15, 2016 at Mt. Zion General Baptist Church at Wadesville. The Stendeback Family Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested the  Charlier VNA Hospice and the Church building fund.
