Donald Trafford, Jr

Donald E. Trafford, Jr., age 49 of Mt. Vernon, died Saturday morning in Mt. Vernon. He was born October 9, 1963 in Evansville, the son of Donald Trafford, Sr. and Dixie Shahan Robertson. He married Lori Clark on February 16, 1990 in Henderson, KY.

Don worked at Jamplast in Mt. Vernon. He loved to fish and smoke meat on his grill. He loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lori; 2 sons, Dustin and Christopher Trafford and 1 daughter, Alisha Trafford all of Mt. Vernon; 1 grandchild, Blayne Lawson; 2 step brothers, Brian Richardson and James Riley; 5 sisters, Robin Nash, Penny Riley, Freda Paige, Mary Curry and Lucienne White.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Donald Wayne Trafford and 2 brothers, Kenny and Donald Rhode.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4thSt., Mt. Vernon with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Weiss Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday and 8:30 a.m. until services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be left atstendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
