Donald G. Todd, 82 of Enfield, passed away Wednesday evening July 29, 2015 at his home. He was born September 30, 1932 in rural Hamilton County, the son of Arthur and Freda (Fulford) Todd. He married Mabel Pollard on March 8, 1958 in Carmi.

Don worked many years in the oil field and later for B&W in Mt. Vernon, IN. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and following the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all, he loved his family. He attended the Enfield General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel; his sons, Donald, Jr. and Michael (Athena) Todd of Enfield and Gregory Todd of Lafayette, IN; his daughters, Miranda (Dan) Atkinson of McLeansboro and Dana Davis of Enfield; his grandchildren, Douglas (Amanda) Atkinson, Derrick Atkinson, Adam Turner, Jacob Davis, Brandon Todd, Danny (Stacey) Atkinson, Melissa (Jarrod) McKenzie, Melinda (Chris) Dotson, Sara, Megan, Abigail and Courtney Todd; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Marjorie) Todd of Aurora and James (Edna) Todd of Fairfield; his sister, Betty Early of Enfield; a stepbrother, John (Carolyn) Gifford of Decatur and sister-in-law, Darlene Gifford of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Robert Todd and a step-brother, James Gifford.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday August 2, 2015 at the Enfield General Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Carmi American Legion and V.F.W.
