Donald H. Currier III, 66 of Carmi, passed away Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born January 31, 1949 in Binghamton, NY, the son of Donald H. and Nellie May (Stever) Currier, Jr. He married Jewell Morgan, on April 1, 1967 in Atlanta, GA.
Donald had been a Superintendent for Underground Construction for Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell; son, Donald H. (Patti) Currier IV; daughter, Charline Edwards; grandchildren, Donald H. Currier V, Cody A. Currier, Tristyn A. N. Currier and Alexander “Pooh” Edwards; step grandchildren, Steven, Jeffery and Daniel Clark; step great-grandchildren, Aidan, Marissa and Nikolas Clark; brothers, Ronald B. Mitchell and Douglas (Paula) Currier; sisters, Virginia Trotter, Bunny (Marty) DeLaney, Bonnie Currier and Calla (Paul) DeForge. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Barry Mitchell.
