Donald Browning

Donald L. Browning, age 70 of Carmi, died early Tuesday morning at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born August 23, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, IN the son of Walter and Madge Kathryn (Williams) Browning.

Donald had worked in the oilfield prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Charlotte; his son, Greg Burnett of Carmi; 4 brothers, Charles (Mary) Browning of Carmi, Joe (Sharon) Browning of Grayville, Billy (Carol) Browning of CA and Harold (Teresa) Browning of TX; 1 sister, Erma (Bill) Yates of Carmi; 1 grandson, Branson Burnett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Larry Lee and James Edward Browning and 2 sisters, Patricia Newman and Mary Browning.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday September 14, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in North Maple Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
