Dennis Stewart

Dennis "Dink" Stewart, 66, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at his home on July 13, 2017. He was born on November 12, 1950 in Evansville, the son of Marce Oliver and Betty Ann (Kirk) Stewart.
Mr. Stewart had worked for the City of Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by sons, Marcus Stewart and Willie Coleman; daughters, Lashelle Stewart, La Quesha Stewart, Dawnita Wilkerson, Tanya Wilson; ten grandchildren; brothers, Matthew Stewart and Marce Oliver Stewart, II; sisters, Evelyn Stewart, Patricia Stewart, and Sylvia Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jesse Lee Stewart and Randolph Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
