Dena White

Dena Kay White, 79, of Marion, IL passed away at 9:12 p.m., on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born in Pella, Iowa, on November 30, 1936 the daughter of Clarence and Bernice Rietveld. Dena married Ronald Arthur White on December 7, 1979 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2002. She was a bail bond woman in Texas.
Dena is survived by a son, Ernie Goemaat of Harrisburg, IL; two daughters, Julie Bouldin of St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada and Noel "John" Summerfield of Morinville, Alberta, Canada; 13 grandchildren including Cortny Rathbun who she raised and several great- grandchildren including Claire Weir. She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Matthew Goemaat; a daughter Tammy Mahieu; two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside service for Dena Kay White, 79, of Marion, IL will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2016 at North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi with Rev, Steven Friese officiating. Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
