Delores Neal

Delores Rosan Neal, 84, of Norris City passed away at 12:10 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Carmi Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Carmi. She was born March 22, 1932 in West City, IL the daughter of Charles Edward and Hattie (Johnson) Sanders. Delores married Frank Holton Neal on March 24, 1950 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2014. She was a homemaker. Delores was a member of Eastern Star and a member of First Baptist Church in Norris City.
Delores is survived by a daughter, Delana Schutte-Smith and husband Bryan Smith of Newburgh, IN; three sons, Dennis Neal and wife Sheilah and Steve Neal all of Norris City and Brian Neal and wife Pat of Benton, IL; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Neal, her parents Charles and Hattie Sanders, a brother, Charles "Chike" Sanders, and three sisters. Ruth Green, Mildred Crowder and Doris Downey.
Funeral services for Delores Rosan Neal, 84, of Norris City, will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in I.O.O.F Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Memorial contributions may be made in Delores' memory to Eastern Star and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
