David Nester

David F. Nester, 79, of Carmi , passed away Sunday afternoon, at his home. He was born on July 30, 1935, in Pennsylvania, the son of Paul and Ida Nester.

A Marine veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by Bell Atlantic for 35 years. David enjoyed sports, especially fishing, and was a professional dog handler and showed and trained dogs for 15 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Krisanne (Bill) Weinbrecht of Carmi and Cheryl (Rich) Hobbie of Califon NJ; 4 grandchildren, Justin and Wyatt Weinbrecht and Samantha and Jamie Barinas.
