David A. "Duke" Koehler, Jr., 45, of Grayville passed away at 9:15 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville, IN. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 17, 1971 the son of David Alan and Judith Diane (Hortin) Koehler. Duke was a welder and formerly a supervisor at Hooiser Stamping in Grayville. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed gardening as well as being an avid sports fan and watching the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks
Duke is survived by a daughter, Madison Payge Koehler and a son, Reed Alan Koehler both of Olney; his parents, Judy and David Koehler of Carmi; two sisters, Kelley and Scott Hyatt of Crossville and Toni and Chris Miller of Chandler, IN.; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for David A. "Duke" Koehler, Jr., 45, of Grayville will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Duke's memory to the Madison and Reed Educational Fund and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
