David Glascock

David Glascock, 76, of Carmi, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 2:15 p.m. at Phoenix Rehab & Nursing in Carmi. He was born on December 24, 1938 in Illinois, the son of Hubert Dale and Flossie (Parker) Glascock. David married Bonnie June Cobb on June 28, 1975 and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2012. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for twelve years and had worked at Walmart.

David is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Linda Glascock of Carmi; a sister-in-law, Donna Newberry of Carmi; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two daughters, Stacie Cobb and Shelley Browning; two sisters, Juanita Simmons and Vickie Dill; and two brothers, Jody and Andy Newberry.

Private graveside funeral services will be held at Kuykendall Cemetery in Carmi. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
