Biography
Wilson "Dave" Mattingly, 54 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Wednesday May 11, 2016 at his home. He was born December 2, 1961 in California, the son of Wilson and Donna (Ray) Mattingly. He was first married to Ann Bodnar, he then married Robin Clark and she preceded him in death. He was married to Tina Wheeler on June 2, 2006.
Dave had worked as a Welder for Local 136 for over 20 years. He had been a member of the Evansville Eagles, Mt. Vernon Moose # 497 and Owen Dunn Post # 5. He was an avid Harley owner and rider.
He is survived by his wife, Tina; children, John David (Christina) Mattingly of Columbus, OH, Tim (Kayla) Utley of Vincennes, Maegen (B.J.) Greenwell of Mt. Vernon, Bradley (Maggie) Cupples and Donna Cupples all of Eagle, CO; grandchildren, Joshua Shea, Logan and London Greenwell, Lane and Gunnar Utley and Benjamin Cupples; sister, Janet Burton.
Memorial services will be held at Noon on Saturday May 14, 2016 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon with Rev. Troy DeKemper officiating.
