Darrell G. Nelson, 59 of Springerton, passed away Sunday morning November 12, 2017 at Carmi Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carmi. He was born November 12, 1958 in Carmi, the son of Kenneth and Joyce (Johnson) Nelson.
Darrell worked for over 20 years at C.G.B. in Enfield. He was a member of the Springerton, Sons of the Legion. He loved his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Amanda) Nelson of Mill Shoals, daughters, Mary Nelson of Carmi, Tamira Nelson of Norris City and Terah (Jeremiah) Baker of Norris City; grandchildren, Brandalyn and Brodie Elliott, Jayni, Gemma and Gunner Nelson, Ryder, Colby, Maddie Baker and Marley Jo McKinnis; brothers, Clayton (Barb) Nelson of Carmi, Steve Nelson of Springerton and Carroll Nelson of Siloam Springs, AR.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Bud Sefried officiating. Burial will be in Kitty Sweetin Cemetery.
