Connie Bullard, 73, of Mill Shoals, passed away at 11:46 a.m., Tuesday , May 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Enfield, IL on March 31, 1945 the daughter of Raleigh Everett and Hazel (Rodgers) Williams. Connie married Roy Bullard on May 20, 1997 and he survives. She had been a 5th grade teacher at Booth Elementary in Enfield. She taught Jr. High at the LAB School in Mill Shoals until retirement. Connie had also taught Parenting and GED courses at Frontier Community College in Fairfield. She had attended Macedonia Baptist Church along with Faith Chapel Church in Grove Center, KY. Connie loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren, golfing and scrapbooking.
Connie is survived by her husband, Roy Bullard, of Mill Shoals; son, Jimmy (Carol) Taylor, of Burnt Prairie; daughter, Tonya (Ryan) Hobbs, of Eldorado; two step-sons, Robbie and Steven Bullard both of Fairfield; sister, Brenda (Bill) Sadler, of Omaha; two grandchildren, Ashley (Travis Walls) Taylor and Roxie (Robert) Zirkelbach; two great grandchildren, Jordan Wyman and Taylir Zirkelbach; seven step-grandchildren, Eric and Zach Smothers, Justin, Caitlyn and Cash Bullard and Kelsey and Lacey Hobbs; one step-great-grandchild, Wesley Smothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Sheldon Williams and a step-daughter, Michelle Smothers.
Funeral services for Connie Bullard, 73, of Mill Shoals, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Shrewsbury Cemetery in Mill Shoals. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Connie's memory to Eldorado High School Foundation for students to fulfill their hopes, dreams and/or educational goals and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
