Coleen Hodge

Coleen R. Hodge, 43, of Crossville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, Illinois.  She was born on July 22, 1978, the daughter of Carmen (Hayden) Stanley.  Coleen married James P. Hodge on July 17, 2010.  She worked as a Certified nursing assistant and most recently as a Social Services Assistant at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.  Coleen enjoyed crafting, reading and most of all spending time with her family and grandkids.

Coleen is survived by her husband, James P. Hodge of Crossville, IL; her children,  Breona Melendez of Marion, IL, Shelby Melendez of Enfield, IL, Jacob Hodge of Chandler IN, and Colin Hodge of Crossville IL; two grandchildren, Kenlee and Kayden; five step-grandchildren; siblings, Faith (Matthew) Bare of Fairfield, IL, and John (Jessica) Holloman of Crossville, IL; nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Ethan and Keegan Bare, Matthew, Peyton, Rowan, and Fennian Holloman.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Stanley.

Funeral services for Coleen Hodge will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  Family and friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Coleen's memory to the Colin Hodge Education Fund, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
