Clyde William Woodrow, 81 of Enfield, passed away Sunday evening March 16, 2014 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born on January 31, 1933, the son of Elmer “Bill” and Naomi (Wilson) Woodrow. He married Alice Brock on June 4, 1952 in White County and she survives.

Clyde was a retired farmer. He is very much loved by his family. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, celebrating family birthdays and family dinners, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Body of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Bobbie Woodrow and Kent and Kristi Woodrow, all of Enfield; four grandchildren, Dianna Williams, husband Jared, Andrea Welch, husband Jason, Haley Woodrow, friend Alan Wurst and Kinsey Woodrow; three great-grandchildren, Jebadiah and Jacob Williams and Harper Welch; two sisters, Marlene McIntosh, husband,Gene of Springerton, Kay Woodrow of Hopkinsville, KY; three brothers, Don Woodrow, wife Kathryne of McLeansboro, Jerry Woodrow, wife Trish of Carmi, Larry Woodrow, wife Carolyn of McLeansboro; one sister-in-law, Margie Woodrow of Springerton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Naomi Woodrow; a brother, Jack Woodrow and a sister Dolores Rose; and two nephews, Jackie H. Woodrow and Tyler K. Woodrow; and a great-niece, Maureen O'Kelley.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am at the Enfield Cemetery on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Springerton Church of Jesus Christ or donor's choice. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield is in charge of arrangements. On-line condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
