Clyde Bryant, Jr., 74, of Omaha, IL passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:50 a.m. at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. He was born February 25, 1937 in Norris City, IL, the son of Clyde William and Mary Alice (Johnson) Bryant. He married Patricia J. Duley October 19, 1956. Clyde was a grain and livestock farmer and supervisor of Omaha Township. He was a member of Omaha General Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Patricia Bryant of Omaha; two daughters, Debra Bryant and friend, Steve Lawrence of Norris City and Sandra Bryant Wonders of Evansville, IN; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kim Bryant of Norris City; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Charles) Turner, Stewart (Katharina) Beam, Cole (Casey) Wonders, Clay (Reanna) Wonders, Krystal (Chad) Johnson, and Kyle Bryant and finan'ce, Deanna French; three great-grandchildren, Bailey and Nichalos Turner, and Zane Johnson, and one on the way, Logan William Bryant.
Funeral services for Clyde Bryant, Jr., 74, of Omaha, will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at Omaha General Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m, with Rev. Blaine Felty officiating. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call on Sunday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church and on Monday after 9:00 a.m.
