Claribel Grant

Claribel Grant, age 78 of Carmi, died Tuesday evening December 3, 2013 at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born February 6, 1935 in White County, the daughter of Jacob and Bonnie (Kiefer) Fechter. She married Frank E. Grant, Sr. and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1999.

Claribel is survived by 2 sons, Mark (Karen) Grant of Albion and Frank, Jr. (Eby) Grant of Broughton; 1 daughter, Jill (Robert) Maze of Eldorado; 4 grandchildren, Amber Ridenbush, Jacob Grant, Anthony Watson and Leslei Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband, and 2 brothers, Robert and Andy Fechter.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday December 7, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. David Angele officiating. Burial will be in Kuykendall Cemetery.
