Clarence Watts

Clarence "Ron" Watts, 86 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday January 10, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born April 28, 1930 in Winnipeg Manitoba, CA, the son of Clarence and Susan (Harvic) Watts. He married Norma Gayle Strange.
Ron had worked as an over the road truck driver. He and his wife Gayle and lived in FL for many years before returning to Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by his step-daughters, Pam (Marvin) Loehr, Phyllis (Greg) Sinnett Whitledge and Debbie (Tim) Ivanoff; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a daughter in law, Marilyn Gregory also survives. He was preceded in death by his wife Gayle, and his step-son Gary Gregory.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday January 13, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with graveside services at Maple Grove Cemetery in Booneville. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
