Cheryl Stubbs

Cheryl Lynne "Cheri" Stubbs, 71, of Wentzville, MO passed away at 9:23 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters. MO. She was born May 30, 1945 in El Paso, TX the daughter of Donald Gray and Laura Katherine (Goforth) Link.  Cheri married Joseph Harvey Stubbs on December 28, 1980 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2010. She was a hair stylist. Cheri enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.

Cheri is survived by, a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Dale Turner of Wentzville, MO; sister, Danni Wright of Suisun, CA; three grandchildren, Courtney Lynn and Dave Epstein, Lindsey Nichole Stefko, and James Edward Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Laura Link, her husband, Joseph Stubbs, and a sister Donna Kae Azevedo.

Funeral services for Cheri Stubbs, 71, of Wentzville, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January  28, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Pastor Dave Nolen officiating. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown. Memorial contributions may be made in Cheri's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
