Cheryl Lynn Phillips, 57, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at her home on Monday, October 3, 2016. She was born on August 22, 1959 in South Dakota, the daughter of Thomas Fredrick and Barbara Ann (Miles) Fischer. She married Rodney A. Phillips on July 16, 1983 in Mt. Vernon and he survives.
She is survived by son, Ryan Phillips (Janetta Wolz) of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Andrea (Sarah) Phillips; two grandsons, Isaiah and Ian; her mother, Barbara Ann Fisher of Evansville; brothers, Tom Fischer of Boonville and Scott Fischer of Newburgh; sister Christina Freels of Vacaville, CA. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday October 6, 2016 at the funeral home.
