Cheryl Edwards

Cheryl Lynn Edwards, 73, of Norris City, passed away at 4:20 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Wabash Christian Village. She was born in Eldorado, IL on May 4, 1944 the daughter of Jean Carlton "J.C." Oliver, Sr. and Dorothy Pauline (Roush) Oliver. Cheryl was a retired office coordinator for the Illinois State Police. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Cheryl is survived by two sons. Brian Edwards, of Houston, TX and Bruce (Angie) Edwards, of Edwardsville, IL; sister-in-law, Paulett "Polly" Oliver, of Fairview Heights, IL; and three grandchildren, Garrett, Brandon, and Emme Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Carlton "J.C." Oliver, Sr. and Dorothy Oliver and a brother, J.C. Oliver, Jr.

A memorial service for Cheryl Lynn Edwards, 73, of Norris City, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl's memory to the American Cancer Society or John Hagee Ministries, jhm.org and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
