Charlotte Collums

Charlotte Mae (Hust) Collums, 73 of Evansville, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died on Monday morning, July 19, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Cathy Ann (Alldredge)
Thompson. She was born on November 10, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, IN, the daughter of Thomas Albert and Madeline (Cox) Hust. She married Conath Ray Collums on November 16, 1960 in Shawneetown, IL and he preceded her in death on December 14,2008.


Mrs. Collums had worked at Wal-Mart (East) as a sales clerk. She was a member of the Church on the Rock in Pascagoula, Mississippi.


She is survived by her mother, Madeline Cox Hust of Mt. Vernon, IN; four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Dale and Jane Alldredge, Jr. of Booneville, IN; Alan Ray and Misty Collums of Pascagoula, Mississippi; Stephen Wayne Collums of Evansville, IN; Ricky DeWayne and Connie Collums of Moss Point, Mississippi; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Kay(Lancaster) and David Cline of New Harmony, IN and Cathy Ann (Alldredge) and Scott Thompson of Evansville, IN; twelve grandchildren, Teresa and Crystal Cline, Kevin Phelps, Brandon Blythe, Ashley Thompson, Olivia, Courtnay, and Bob-bea Alldredge, Kayla and Cain Collums, Tabitha, Rachael and Chance Collums; nine great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Eva Louise (Hust) and Keith Reisinger of Picayune, Mississippi; she was preceded in death by her father, Albert Hust; and two brothers, Tom Hust and Alvin Ray Hust.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Austin-Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 12 until the time of the service. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery. On-line condolences may be left at www.austinfuneralhome.com.
