Charles R. "Chuck" Smith, 74, of Dallas, TX passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Bay City, MI on November 30, 1943 the son of Lester H. and June (Tharp) Smith. Chuck graduated from Carmi Township High School in 1962. He was a printer at the Industrial Chemical Company in Dallas.

Chuck is survived by two brothers, Tom (Suellen) Smith, of Carmi and Dick (Melody) Smith, of Cottageville, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and June Smith.

Services will be private. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
