Charles A. "Andy" Oberlender, 55, of East Carondelet, IL passed away at 8:10 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 2, 1960 in San Antonio, TX the son of Richard and Rosella (Clark) Oberlender. Andy was a truck driver and a member of East View Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Natasha Pearson and fiancAC.e Brian Raymond of Grayville; three sons, Charles Oberlender, Jr.and wife Chantel of Mattoon, IL, Joseph Oberlender and wife Tammy and Matthew Oberlender and wife Jackie all of Carmi; six sisters, Sandra Oberlender of O'Fallon, Rose Butler of Poteet, TX, Mary Scott and husband Bob of Mesa, AZ, Marilyn Turner and husband Ruel of Edwardsville, Rebecca Jolley and husband Charlie and Frances Oberlender of Granite City; two brothers, Richard Oberlender of Poteet, TX and Robert Oberlender and wife Nora of East Carondelet; and 16 grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial for Charles "Andy" Oberlender, 55, of Carmi will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2015 in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi. Memorial contributions may be made in Andy's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
