Charles Mason

Charles Duncan Mason, 72 of Mount Vernon, IN passed away Monday at his home. He was born July 20, 1944 in Evansville, the son of Charles J and Beulah (Green) Mason.

Charles had worked as a welder at B&W for many years. He was a member of the Posey County Historical Society. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was assoicated with the Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH.

He is survived by his aunt, Jane D. Thomas, cousins, Arthur, Chris, Richard, and David Thomas, Margaret Sailer, Larry, Scott, Gary, Ronnie and Sherry Green.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday October 14, 2016 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral on Friday. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Owen Dunn Post #5.
