Charles Brian Cain, 45 of New Harmony, IN, died at his home on November 13, 2008. He was born on July 18, 1963 in Evansville, IN the son of Charles Daniel and Marion Aline (Barnett) Cain. He married Tina Miller on February 18, 2000 in Gatlinburg, TN and she survives.


Mr. Cain was a mechanic for the Posey County Highway Dept. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.


In addition to his wife, Tina, he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ukiah Garrett of New Harmony, Robert and Julie Garrett of Evansville, and Brian and Nicole Cain of Eberfeld; one daughter, Lucy Cain of Newburgh; three grandchildren, Skylar and Alivia Garrett and Lucas Cain; one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel L. and Marilyn Cain of New Harmony; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Norm Greer, Ruby and Stanley “Eagle” Norris, Goldie and Jesse Storey, and Susie and Bill McDaniel, all of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert L. Cain.


Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IN. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. On-line condolences may be left at Austinfuneralhome.com
