Charles Bingman

Charles Wesley Bingman, 87, of Carmi, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at his residence in Carmi. He was born July 23, 1926 in White County, IL, the son of William G. and Lelia Mae (Gowdy) Bingman. Charles Wesley married Emma Lou Wilson on October 18, 2004 and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2011. He was a farmer and a custodian at Carmi White County High School. Charles Wesley attended McHenry Good News Chapel at Crossville.
He is survived by cousins, Ernie and his wife, Linda Bingman of Carmi, Patricia and her husband, Dave Burg of Cumming, GA and Bill and his wife, Peggie Sgarlata of Buena Vista, CO.
Charles Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emma Lou Bingman; and a sister, Florence Bingman.
Funeral services for Charles Wesley Bingman, 87, of Carmi, will be Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Plainview Cemetery near Norris City. Friends may call on Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
