Charles Barrow

Charles R. Barrow, Sr. 73, died Monday morning March 31, 2008 at the home of his daughter Rebecca in Wadesville , IN. He was born on December 28, 1934 in Robinson County, TN, the son of Charles V. and Alma Mae (Phillips) Barrow. He married Barbara Lois Seaton and she preceded him in death in 1991.

Mr. Barrow retired in 1992 after 35 years from Bristol Meyers. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed Demolition Derby Cars.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles, Jr. and Lisa Barrow, of West Franklin, Chris and Darla Barrow of Wadesville, and Kevin and Pam Ice of Lynnville; four daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca Barrow and Billy Rowe and Sharrtina Barrow all of Wadesville, Cheryal and Randy Stearns of Wadesville, Gaylynn and Bob Reese of Poseyville; fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy “Dot” Belcher of Auburn, KY.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday April 1, 2008 at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon . Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday April 2, 2008 at the funeral home, with burial in Zion Lippe Church Cemetery in Mt. Vernon .
