Cecil Jackson Mizell II

Cecil Jackson Mizell II, 45, of Carmi, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Carmi Manor in Carmi, Illinois. He was born on July 28, 1977, in Dunedin, Florida, the son of Cecil Mizell and Bonnie Weddle.  Cecil worked as a roustabout in the oil fields. He enjoyed hydro dipping, airbrushing and custom bicycle building.

    Cecil is survived by his father, Cecil Mizell of Clearwater, FL; his mother and step-father Bonnie and Leroy Pearson of Sandborn, IN; siblings, Kevin Pearson Kelly Dawn Pearson, Brian Pearson, Mary Barrix and Sherry Gillespie; and a friend, Elizabeth Doneghue of Carmi, IL.

A service celebrating Cecil’s life will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made in Cecil's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
