Cathy Hosick

Cathy Hosick, 54, of Crossville passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 2, 1958 in Carmi the daughter of Lee Chester and Alice Jeanette (Wagner) McMinn. Cathy married Edward Thomas "Pete" Hosick on May 5, 1985. She had worked as a secretary at Martin and Bayley, Trellborg, McLean Midwest and the First United Methodist Church in Carmi and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Carmi.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Pete; a daughter Jeanette Hosick-Archer and her husband Adam of Crossville; a son, Joshua Hosick and his fiancAC.e Samantha Webb of Crossville; five grandchildren, Deanna Hosick, Zackkary Hosick, Dakota Hosick, Kaitlin Shelton and Brooklyn Webb; a sister, Theresa Duvall and her husband Leon of Carmi; a brother, Michael Lee McMinn of Evansville, IN; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Mata and husband Fidel of Chicago, IL, Sheila Thornton and her husband Jim of Lick Creek, IL and Christine Turner and her husband Wilgus of Austin, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dianna Compton.

Funeral Services for Cathy Hosick, 54, of Crossville will be Friday, August 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Brad Garner and Rev. Helen Whitney officiating. Burial will be in Newman Cemetery near Carmi. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
