Carolyn Juanita Headlee

     Carolyn Juanita Headlee, 81, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday August 29, 2023. at Carmi Manor. She was born on May 3, 1942, in Crawford County, Illinois, the daughter of Eddie Jack and June Christine (Montgomery) Dunlap. Carolyn  was a member of the Assembly of God in McLeansboro, Illinois. She served in youth and nursing home ministries. Carolyn was also a member of the McLeansboro American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing and horseback riding when she was younger.

     Carolyn is survived by a son, Ted Dunlap of Carmi, IL; a daughter, Donita Page of Carmi, IL; Nine  grandchildren, Kelly Page, Savannah Leindar, Christina Dunlap, Derek Bowers, Kayla J. Headrick, Devin Headlee, Michael Headlee, T.C. Headlee; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosanne Illes of Albion, IL and Jackie Dunlap of Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tom Headlee; a grandchild, Lannette Marie Headlee; and two siblings, Shirley Dunlap and Ronnie Dunlap.

     Services for Carolyn Headlee will be Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carolyn's memory to Campbell Funeral to assist the family with funeral expenses, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
