Carolyn Boston

Carolyn J. Boston, 57, of Omaha passed away at 3:10 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  She was born on May 31, 1960 in Eldorado, IL the daughter of James Elvis and Alva Jean (Richardson) Bartley.  Carolyn married Joseph Boston on October 3, 1998.  She worked as a home health aide and previously as a cook at Eldorado Nursing Home.  Carolyn was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Carmi.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Joe of Omaha; her parents, James E. and Alva Jean Bartley of Omaha; three daughters, Jessica Lipscomb of Marion, KY, Teresa (James) Hinton of Equality and Crystal Clodfelter of Carmi; a son, Charles (Megan) Bush of Enfield; four sisters, Cathy (Larry) Murphy of Norris City, Connie (Rick) White of McLeansboro, Cindy (Doug) Jarmine and Christie (Rick) Willoughby both of Omaha; and six grandchildren, Jasmine, Dakota, Haley, Jacob, Gracie and Angel.  Carolyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Chittenden , son, Joseph Boston and a sister, Caren Sue Bartley.

Graveside funeral services and burial for Carolyn J. Boston, 57 of Omaha will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven with Pastor Helen Whitney officiating.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.  Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.  www.campbellfuneralservices.com
