Carole Jean Pollard

Carole Pollard, 85, of Carmi, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Carole and Dean owned Deans Flowerland in Carmi before moving to South Florida, where he proceeded her in death. She later returned to Carmi and resided at Wabash Christian Village where she passed peacefully in her sleep. She was a loving Wife, Sister, Mother and Gammy, who enjoyed the simple things in life, and was always led by her faith in God.

She is survived by her siblings, Fred James, Cinda Phelps, Thomas James, Dixie DeWitt and D’Annette Miller; sons Derin (Patsy) Pollard of Milton, FL, Derik Pollard of Milton FL; grandchildren, Shannon (Ted) Maddox of New Harmony, IN, Draper (Karissa) Pollard of Milton, FL and Karlie (Jonathan) Weaver of Belleville, IL; and great- grandchildren: Talin, Haiden, Revan, Stella and Dyna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Wilma James, husband, Dean Pollard and a brother, Donald James.

A private family service celebrating the life of Carole Pollard will be held at a later date. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements
