Carol Hargrove

Carol Jean (Hyatt) Hargrove , 42, of Mt. Vernon, IN, died at 9:15 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2005 at her home in Mt. Vernon surrounded by her family. Carol was born February 8, 1963 in Evansville, IN daughter of Charles M. and Ginger M. Hyatt. She graduated from Mt. Vernon Senior High School in 1981 and worked at Pamida in Mt. Vernon. Carol was a member of The Lighthouse Assembly of God in New Harmony, IN.
Carol married John Hargrove on January 17, 1981 and he survives. Carol is also survived by 2 sons, Jacob Hargrove and Johnny Ray Hargrove, Jr. and his wife Shelley of Mount Vernon.
Her parents, Charles and Ginger Hyatt of Mount Vernon; a brother Charles M. Hyatt, Jr. and his wife Laura of Newburgh, IN and 2 sisters, Charlene Welch and her husband Mike of Henderson, KY and Terrie Prow and her husband Dan of Mount Vernon; and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, December 5, 2005 at Austin Funeral Home , 1330 East Fourth Street in Mount Vernon, with Rev. Jason Farrar officiating. Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery. Friends may call from 5pm until 8pm on Sunday, December 4, at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street, Mt. Vernon, IN. Those wishing to honor Carol with memorials may do so by donating blood and blood products.
