Carol Brooks

Carol Brooks, 55, of Hanson, KY formerly of Norris City, passed away at 7:45 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Norris City on April 26, 1959 the daughter of Claude and Lois Marie (Bryant) Brooks. Carol was a homemaker.

She is survived by her lifetime partner, Chris Austin of Hanson, KY; two daughters, Shawna Brooks of Evansville, IN and Rhanda Ellis of Crossville; three sons, Michael Pfister of Evansville, IN and Brett and Bryant Austin of Hanson, KY; five sisters, Marilyn James of Norris City, Dorothy Brown of Carmi, Virginia Chapman of Norris City, Linda Smith of Crossville and Betty Martin of Lakeland, FL; three brothers, Dennis Brooks of Norris City, Allen Brooks of McLeansboro, Steven Brooks of Muddy; four grandchildren, Cayden, Caitlin, Keaton and Karson. Carol was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Campbell and Fay Drone and a brother, Raymond "Joe" Brooks.

A Celebration of Carol's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Joe Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
