Carmen Stanley, 61, of Crossville, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 6:14 p.m. at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel. She was born on June 20, 1954 in Carmi, IL, the daughter of Wayne and Madeline L. (Hillyard) Hayden. Carmen married Loyed Stanley in 2001. She worked as a CILA technician for the Egyptian Health Department.
Carmen is survived by her husband of 14 years, Loyed Stanley; her mother, Madeline Steed of Crossville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Faith and Matthew Bare of Fairfield and Coleen and James Hodge of Norris City; a step daughter, Helen Catiller and her husband, Brian of Sealy, TX; a son, John Holloman of Crossville; two step sons, Loyed Dale Stanley, Jr. and his wife, Ana Marie of Destin, FL and Rodney Stanley and his wife, Penny of Indianapolis, IN. three sisters and a brother-in-law, Daphne and Rick Webb of Maunie, Tammy Ireland of Crossville and Kay Hagen of Oklahoma City, OK; three brothers, Mike Hayden, Rick and Jason Steed all of Crossville; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; step father, Hugh Steed who raised her and a brother, Hugh Steed, Jr.
Visitation for Carmen Stanley, 61, of Crossville, will be Monday, October 12, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be given in Carmen's name to the Giving Tree, c/o First Bank. and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
