Bruce Roberts

Bruce H. Roberts, 57, of Norris City passed away at 12:18 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2014 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born on February 4, 1957 in Eldorado, IL. Bruce had worked as a tire builder for Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon, IL.

He is survived by three daughters, Jessie Roberts and Erica Roberts both of Norris City and Exi Roberts of Omaha; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Shoff and Jaylie Roberts and one on the way, Trace Roberts. his father, Paul Corbett of Norris City; sister and brother-in-law, Dodie and Steve Richardson of Henderson, KY; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Corbett.

Funeral Services for Bruce H. Roberts, 57, of Norris City will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Ditney Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may come to Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made in Bruce's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
