Brett Hansman

Brett Andrew Hansman, 20, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday April 6, 2021. He was born on April 6, 2001, the son of Bill Hansman and Jafee (Myers) Montgomery.  Brett graduated from Carmi White County High School in 2019.  Brett loved to draw, ride four wheelers and most of all, going fishing.  You will always be loved and truly cherished.

Brett is survived by his parents, Bill (Jennifer) Hansman of Carmi, IL. and Jafee (Aaron) Montgomery of Harrisburg, IL.; a sister, Olivia Hansman; his brother, Seth Stanley; his grandparents, Kay Hansman of Carmi, IL and Edward and Judy Myers of Harrisburg, IL.; aunts and uncles, Lora Carlson,  Diana Fay Taylor, Johnny Williams, and Cristal and Jack Fox; two cousins, Marissa Barker and Kisha Jackson. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles W. Hansman.

Funeral Services for Brett Andrew Hansman will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday April 9, 2021 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Brett's memory to the Recovery Resource Center in Eldorado, Illinois, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.  In accordance with CDC and IDPH recommendations, social distancing will be observed and masks will be required.
