"Bobby Mac" Johnson, 61 of Mt. Vernon passed away Friday November 28, 2014 at his home. He was born February 13, 1953, the son of George M. and Mary (Wilson) Johnson, III.
Bobby had worked as a firewatcher at Deig Bros. He enjoyed riding horse and hunting and fishing.
He is survived by 1 son, Bobby Ray (Stephanie) Johnson of Wadesville; 4 daughters, Jody Thome of Ft. Branch, Gina Foster of Evansville, Devy Mathews and Natalie Carlino of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Tom (Trudy) Johnson of Mt. Vernon; and 1 sister, Mary Perry of Mt. Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Gary Hayes and 1 grandson, Dalton Thome.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering that will take place starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday December 4, 2014 in the Family Life Center at the Point Church of the Nazarene in Mt. Vernon.
